Easy sticky pork belly
Honey garlic roast pork belly slices are a great way to mix up your weekly meal repertoire.

Easy sticky pork belly

Ingredients
- 500 g high-welfare pork belly slices
- sea salt
- 115 ml light soy sauce
- 1 juice of an orange
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 170 C.
- Score the fat on the pork belly slices and season with salt.
- Place the pork belly slices onto a baking tray and cook for approx. 10 mins, then turn to do the other side.
- To crisp the fat up, lean the slices against each other and place them under the grill (watch carefully) for approx . 5 minutes. Remove once nice and crisp.
Honey garlic glaze
- Add all the ingredients into a saucepan and gently bring to a boil then simmer until the sauce thickens a little – approx. 3 – 5 minutes
- Drizzle the glaze over the pork belly slices.
- Serve on rice with some greens e.g. pak choi, charred gem lettuce, purple sprouting
