Sticky bangers & beer onion baps

Ingredients
- 6 quality pork sausages, sliced in half, lengthways
- 3 tbsp runny honey
- 2 tbsp soy
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 6 white floury baps, toasted
Beer onions
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 25 g butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 200 ml dark ale
- 1 tbsp soft dark brown sugar
Instructions
Beer onions
- On low heat, add the butter and olive oil, then fry the sliced onions for approx 20 mins or until soft.Next, add the ale and sugar and cook for approx 30 mins or until the liquid has evaporated and the onions are nice and sticky.
Sausages
- In a frying pan, fry the pork sausages (sliced in half, lengthways) until cooked and golden on the outer side. Mix the honey, mustard and soy and drizzle of the sausages, making sure they are all nicely coated and sticky.SERVE: place a sausage in each bap and pile on the onions!
