Season the pork steaks (once they've come to room temperature).
In a deep frying pan, add a little oil and a knob of butter. Once the pan is hot, add the steaks and cook for approx. 3 mins each side (slightly longer if they are thick steaks). Transfer to a plate to rest.
In a the same pan, on a lower heat, add some more butter and add the garlic cloves, cook for a few minutes or until just starting to brown.Push the garlic to the side of the pan, then add the flour and stir in with the butter to make a quick roux avoiding the garlic.
Pour in the chicken stock and lemon juice and stir altogether until it thickens a little.
Add in the garlic powder and cream, whisk in, then add back in the pork steaks and leave on a low heat.Cook you gnocchi (according to the packet)... should take 2 -3 mins or until they start to float.Then add the gnocchi to the pan making sure it all gets nicely coated in the creamy sauce.Serve.
