1onion, diced
1garlic clove, thinly sliced or minced
2tbspolive oil
1tspcumin seeds
1tspheaped tsp chilli powder
500gbeef mince
2tbsptomato paste
1 - 2tbspWorcestershire sauce
400gtinned chopped tomatoes
1tspdried oregano
pinch of sugar
salt and pepper to seaon
Instructions
Peel and finely chop the garlic and onion.Heat oil in a frying pan and add the onion, cook until soft over medium heat.
Next, add the garlic, cumin seeds and cook for 1-2 mins (until the cumin seeds are fragrant). Then add the chilli powder and stir in.Add the ground beef, breaking it up into the pan and brown the meat. Season with salt and pepper.
Add tomato paste to the fried minced meat and mix, then pour in the chopped tinned tomatoes.Add 1-2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, dried oregano and a pinch of sugar and cook for another 1-2 mins.
