6quality pork sausages, sliced in half, lengthways
3tbsprunny honey
2tbspsoy
2tbspDijon mustard
6white floury baps, toasted
Beer onions
3large onions, sliced
25gbutter
1tbspolive oil
200mldark ale
1tbspsoft dark brown sugar
Instructions
Beer onions
On low heat, add the butter and olive oil, then fry the sliced onions for approx 20 mins or until soft.Next, add the ale and sugar and cook for approx 30 mins or until the liquid has evaporated and the onions are nice and sticky.
Sausages
In a frying pan, fry the pork sausages (sliced in half, lengthways) until cooked and golden on the outer side. Mix the honey, mustard and soy and drizzle of the sausages, making sure they are all nicely coated and sticky.SERVE: place a sausage in each bap and pile on the onions!
